On September 3rd, Whitney Scott with the Fiber Artists of Adair County Kentucky presented the different animal fiber used to make yarn. Part of the hands-on experience was creating fur into yarn using a handheld spindle. She also presented different spindles and what you can create from the yarn. ![]()
The Fiber Artists of Adair County Kentucky meets the 2nd and 4th Saturday at Happy Cow to have a Sip and Stitch. From 2 to 4 pm all you have to do is bring your current knitting, crocheting, quilting project and enjoy creating while learning. ![]()
Also on the 1st and 3rd Thursday from 9 am to 11 am, the Adair County Fiber Arts will meet at the fairgrounds--256 Industrial Park Road, Whether you are a seasoned fiber artist or just curious about learning a new craft, you are welcome to join! Fiber Artists of Adair County Kentucky
